Buddies

"This is my buddy Patrick and me. He's older and bigger than me. My family has dinner on Sunday afternoons with his family and he lets me play with his toys. Patrick is fun to watch. He runs around a lot. He talks a lot too and I like to sit quietly and watch him do all his stuff. I can even say his name, but it doesn't sound exactly like how Mommy says it. I love Patrick."

(Mommy note: When Emma says "Patrick," it sounds more like "KICK" with a huge emphasis on each K sound. It's extremely cute. And also similar to the word she uses for pancake and cupcake, which is "KECK." Or something that looks less vulgar.)
