Cauliflower phobia continues

So, I haven't yet tried the chicken salad in a sandwich. Yesterday when it was time to make lunch, instead of putting the chicken salad in between some toasted whole wheat bread ... I chickened out (no pun intended) and used the last two leftover hard-boiled eggs to make an egg salad sandwich instead. It was delicious.

I'm going to make James try the chicken salad sandwiches first and get his opinion. That's what husbands are for, right?

Lady! Did you not forget that detailed, well-thought out email I wrote you several months ago that included many good ideas on cooking veggies and healthy stuff (i.e. roasting cauliflower!)? I know you said you got that email but hadn't read it...i think I might even have it in my 'sent' box still. I'll check and re-send it okay? The whole pureeing the cauliflower doesn't sound exciting, and that 'smoke' taste is definately the burnt pot residue. I've discovered from cooking for almost 10 years that once you burn something there is no turning back, it's toast, start over, don't try to fix it. Anywhoo, I don't mean to scold, just to encourage, alright?

btw, are you planning on going to the reunion? just wanted your input about that...let me know :)

Ha you did chicken out! Funny! I make a chicken salad that has pineapple and sliced almonds in it that is really good...you get a veggie and some extra protein with the almonds!
