Emma's Place

Or maybe this post would be more appropriately titled, "The One With 500 Pictures of Our Daughter Playing in the Cardboard House Her Daddy Built for Her."

Here she is, taking her first crawl-through...
Saying "cheese" for Mommy, even when she's not quite sure yet what she thinks of the place.
Exploring ...
Peek-a-boo!

Yes, her Daddy even practiced his block lettering to inscribe the name of this little cardboard mansion.
I think she likes it!
The house has two doors -- one in front and one in back.

Okay, she likes it. She deemed it a safe place to bring her Dubdee Bear and Blankie.
I peeked through one of two skylights to get this picture.
Through one of many side windows ...
Ooh, this one is in honor of Halloween. Kind of a creepy one!
Trying to figure out how to open and close the big front window.
And here's the full view of the mansion. Check out the paneled windows in the back of the house! I am so grateful that my child has such a great daddy. Isn't he awesome? This is how he chose to spend his evening last night ... it took him 90 minutes to put all these finishing touches on this (and he cleaned out the garage, too).
Signing off from "Emma's Place!"

That is so cool, and hilarious! We have a ton of cardboard right now too, from the crib, the glider, and all the other stuff we've gotten lately. No kid to play in it though... boo!

Yay!! That really is big, you weren't kidding!! :) Well done James. I want partial credit becasue I told him to make one (which is why I only request partial credit because I think he had the idea too). Now you need to put wrapping paper around the outside. That's what my parents did to the one they made for me. :) Maybe I will go find a picture to upload and share with you. (if you're lucky!)
